TEACHER PROGRAM SPECIALIST PROGRAM
Our Certification Program is for specialists who regularly coach, train, or mentor infant and toddler teachers (Texas Rising Star mentors, TSR Comp Coaches, ESC and EHS specialists). Texas ITSN certification members will need to meet the requirements to join this program and will need to sign a commitment letter to participate. Once members are accepted into the certification program they complete a series of online courses, webinars, and PLCs (small group trainings) to increase their knowledge and skills. Meeting these requirements gives them access to certified Texas ITSN content (Teacher Facilitation Guides and Training PowerPoints) that they can use in their own trainings to earn their certification. All certification members must be on the Texas Trainer Registry and must use Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS) to document all ITSN training and coaching events that are delivered. See list of benefits for joining the specialist and certification programs.
Important! Before you apply to the ITSN Certification Program you need to have requested to join the ITSN Specialist Program.
